My name is Joanne LeFlufy (although I prefer to be called Jo) and I am a wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer located in Kamloops, BC, Canada.

Here is my equation for a fullfilled life:

Life = Love + Passion squared.

Loving myself (and others) and being passionate about who I am and what I do is what makes my life perfectly balanced. Sure, there are hard times and uphill battles, but they make me a stronger, more genuine person (as well as a better photographer) and they make the good times and smooth sailing moments all the more enjoyable. Laughing all the time helps to make life easier as well and I spend a great deal of time laughing.

I am happiest when I am being creative and I'm most creative when I have a camera or a pen in my hand. Hence, I'm always happy when I'm shooting or blogging.

When I started out in photography, my goal was to capture moments that evoke strong, positive emotions - laughter, tears of joy, unconditional love, etc. If I make clients laugh out loud or cry from happiness when they see their photos, then all of the endless hours I have spent (learning to shoot, honing my skills, and infusing my passion for photography into every picture) are suddenly more than worth it.

For me, photography is about unleashing my creative beast while connecting with people and helping them to see the beauty inside and all around them - it's that simple.
